16 And Yahweh God (A)commanded the man, saying, “From any tree of the garden you may surely eat; 17 but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat from it; for in the day that you eat from it (B)you will surely die.”

18 Then Yahweh God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; (C)I will make him a helper [a]suitable for him.”
